Doris Arndt and I were chatting at Art and Soul and Virginia and laughed about cleaning the "Studio" - I look at all the Gorgeous studios on blogs and in magazines - I am in Awe of these lovely some of these working spaces! I was very lucky to see Jennifer Paganelli's luscious studio - replete with sparkles and magnificent views! While my studio does have a beautiful view --- it is not as charming as I would wish! I do think it is time to clean a bit though - here is a picture of a dusty spot..looking at the photo it looks kind of romantic...
Saturday morning I went to a small, yet wonderful flea market in a nearby town, guess my eye must have been looking for a bit of red ..Here is a picture of the red treasures I found. I stayed a shorter time than usual, because it was so very hot and humid! Now I can't wait to look at all the fun things I bought... and try to see how they will be used in a new piece!
Here are two pillows finished this week and delivered to the Bleu Willow
Another road trip with Ellen and Sallianne of ART-IS-YOU this time we went to the fabulous Sis Boom event at Jennifer Paganelli's lovely home. It was the first time I have met Jennifer, her warm smile and beautiful art just welcomed us joyfully on a rather dreary and rainy day. We had so much time looking at all the gorgeous fabrics, crowns, and myriad of artist made goodies. Here are some pictures of the adventure.... and since I am in the "I Saw Red" event too...I bet you will find some great red in these images... Let's start with one of the delightful Jennifer.
Today, I was visiting the lovely blog of Garbiela Delworth looking at her newest French Crown and saw a post about an " I Saw Red" blog photography event hosted by Sadie Olive. It sounded like a lot of fun so here is my first red post...my red leather chair - a very cozy spot in the winter for curling up with a good book, a soft blanket and a lovely cup of tea!
