Scraps, I have lots of lovely scraps and want to use them, but many of them are too small for larger projects. So, here is a tiny album, designed to use and enjoy all those lovely little tattered and worn items. We will be using an old book cover cut in half as the basis for this 5 x 4 inch book. We will use watercolorpaper for the pages then adding laces, trims, paints and etc. to create a tiny masterpiece where you can incorporate your favorite quotes, notes and little pictures from you collections.

WorkShop: Any Level, no Prior Experience
Time: 6 hours: Which will give students time to make the book, but journaling and adding to it will be done on
their own time.
Supply List:
Basics, scissors, rulers, etc.
Tablet or sheets of water color paper. Enough for 15 to 20 (8 x 5 inch) pages.
All the tiny scraps you can muster
Old Buttons, embellishments
Two or three colors of paint if we each bring a favorite color or two, we can share, saves on lugging lots of paint colors.
and you can also bring portfolio crayons, or whatever you like for adding color to pages.
Needle and thread
Fabric Tack Glue (Michael’s, A.C. Moore)
I am bringing a small sewing machine, but if you are driving and have one to share, it would be appreciated.
Teacher will bring:
Book Covers
Small sewing Machine
Binding Materials, large needles, waxed linen
Laces and fabrics for page embellishment
Pictures printed on fabric for cover and inside of book
Transparences for transferring onto fabric or paper.
